The Alocasia plant is actually native to tropical and subtropical Asia to Eastern Australia and is known for its dramatic and unique foliage. Due to its origin, it loves humidity; Alocasia plants appreciate the extra humidity a kitchen or bathroom can offer. Placing a pebble tray nearby is a good way to increase the humidity around the plant consistently, and frequent misting is encouraged too. When misting, try not to get the leaves too wet as sitting water can damage the leaves. This unique plant will be the perfect addition to your home or office!
